Davita Building in the Snow Size:24"x36" In the winter of 2008

In the winter of 2008 I was at Glacier National Park photographing and enjoying the scenery

From this perspective the repeating lines and the contrast against the dark sky drew my attention for the image today

as I thought the wave of the stadium lighting would be interesting with the sun positioned over the stadium

I grabbed some images of the lines and patterns of the shadows knowing that upon my return the sun would be behind the nearby ridge

This afternoon I decided to walk around this area to capture some images of the trees near the Colorado Convention Center

Davita Building in the Snow Size:24"x36" In the winter of 2008As construction has continued around the Union Station area there is this view of the Davita Building which still remains, for now. I have been drawn to this perspective as it allows for a simple look at the lines of the building and the perspective of Millennium Bridge in Denver. On this day a couple of weeks ago there was a light snowfall in the city which allows the blueish hue of the building to standout on the overcast day in the city.
