The Togidashi Dial This dial is using a Urushi technique called Togidashi (), which uses several different Urushi colors (Kuroroiro Urushi black color, and Bengara Urushi dark red), unevenly, and so sanding the surface reveals different colors. This dial is made on our original Japanese washi dial. I applied several layers of Urushi, Japanese lacquer. Which can be taken out of Urushi
