Change of Seasons Size:24"x36" Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe

Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe is a much visited and photographed location

but will do so in a few weeks for the season bringing more traffic to the road then what I saw on this day

It didn't take too long for that to happen as I captured this image

I planned to wake up early to get out to Washington Park prior to sunrise and see how it had been transformed

The late afternoon light was lighting up the remaining fall colors on a nice November day

Change of Seasons Size:24"x36" Emerald Bay in Lake TahoeIn the fall of 2009, an October snow storm brought close to a foot of snow to Denver. As this was in the middle of fall there were still plenty of leaves on the trees. A tree near the State Capitol was full of color which feel onto the fresh snow and brought the contrast of the seasons into light.
