Alba and Asti are the two growing regions in Piemonte in which the varieties and yields are regulated by the government. Barbera grows very well in the Sierra Foothills yielding grapes that are for the most part fruitier and more aromatic than their Italian counterparts. Our Estate Barbera vineyard was planted in 2007. This wine was made in our "Submerged Cap" Fermentation Tank
