the 2013 is one of the most impressive young La Serras I have ever tasted from Roberto Voerzio because the tannins are much more polished than is typically the case here

it sings of black and red cherry preserves

I like the overall sense of harmony and this should be really lovely in time

Low yields and small berries translated into a bold, deep coloured Cabernet with less than 5% other Bordeaux varietals. Its a big mouthful of ripe juicy blackberry flavours with spicy aromas and roasted brown sugar notes of American oak aging.
