The Past Along Tennyson Street Presentation:Photobox After a day of snowshoeing

After a day of snowshoeing up the road I was heading back and stopped at the west end of Lake McDonald just after sunset

Using the buildings in Commons Park as a a foreground element to frame the skyline of Denver was my thought process for this image

Eaglecrest Ski Area is about twenty minutes from downtown Juneau where I decided to head during the day

It was a balance of finding the right break in the clouds as well as an interesting scene to photograph and when a small clearing occurred captured this image

For the next few hours we explored just outside the downtown area and some of the great architecture new and old which can be found in Denver

The Past Along Tennyson Street Presentation:Photobox After a day of snowshoeingJust a year ago there was much construction work along Tennyson Street in northwest Denver. Those times have changed and people have been enjoying the street now in the Berkeley District. There are still some reminders of the construction in the area, with some saved spikes and other pieces of the old street car line along Tennyson. However in talking to people new to the area, they have no idea what it was like just one year ago.
