This morning there was a system which was moving through which prevented a colorful sunrise as we have had the past couple of years

I knew Sunset Beach Park would be my destination

The whale sculpture is not too far from downtown and for those coming to visit by cruise ship could be 0

With the dusting of snow the downtown Denver area received from this latest storm I was careful to plan ahead on the way to a scene as with this path in the park

The patterns of the roof and one piece of wood sticking up more so is what caught my eye in this image

Just for a change I transformed it to a black and white image which I think tells a little different story in comparison with the original image in color. With the rocks leading us out to the lake and onwards to the mountains it is not a mixture of colors but something which blends the scene together as one just after sunset on this evening.
