Winter at Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" Grant Humphreys Mansion is located

Grant Humphreys Mansion is located near Governors Park and as I found out after the fact the mansion is haunted

With the warm temperatures the few days before this the accumulated snow did not amount to much but even so I grabbed my camera and headed out into the city

I have walked past the Governor's Mansion in Denver many times and have always noticed the lines of the fence which surrounds the location

the first snow was not until mid-November which is quite late

The late afternoon light was lighting up the remaining fall colors on a nice November day

Winter at Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" Grant Humphreys Mansion is locatedTaking advantage of a large snowfall in Denver, I headed to Sloans Lake which is along the western border of Denver. Walking around the lake I noticed this flowing tree and started to photograph it with the lake in the background. I sort of laughed to myself as it does have a little similarity to the image Winter in Washington Park which I have photographed a few times before as well.
