For many decades, this was used as Richard Schultz and his family's coffee table in their home. It is signed by Richard Schultz underneath as shown. Originally designed as a dining table, Richard later cut down the legs to use it as a coffee table. The table is in very nice condition. Richard's son Peter believed the top to be rosewood, though
