力強い流水と草花をモノトーンで染めた小紋からアロハシャツに。

平安時代には陰陽道が盛んになったことや、北斗七星信仰がおこったことなどから星が文様化されましたが、現在では星型モチーフの文様が多くなっています。

もとは高品質な麻素材の生地に藍染を施した文様でした。

また雲は天候を左右し雨を降らせることから「豊かさ」の象徴とされます。
