The finish on the nickel plated pommel, crossguard and fittings is very good, and I would say it is a conservative 90% intact. These have toned to a nice matte silver. The checkered grip plates are also excellent, as are the rivets. The mortise button is fully functional. The leather buffer is still in place under the
