The front and back covers are letterpress printed in metallic gold ink with a repeating moon phase pattern. This journal's sturdy black covers are cut from recycled book board and the endpapers (which line the inside of the cover) are dark red. Bound using an exposed coptic stitch, each and every page of this notebook will lie flat across when opened making drawing and writing easier.
