In contrast to some of the suggestions in this (somewhat schizotypal) comment section, I don't find the licorice to be oppressive at all (and I'm usually fairly sensitive/averse to it)

If you already have Carlisle you might not need this but it is excellent even at the higher price point....9/10 edit: After wearing this a few times I'm also picking up a hint of ginger which just lifts the fragrance slightly and gives it added depth....this is great stuff
