We purchase the ATS kit from Ingun and add a custom PCBA that mates with the Production Line Tool via the standard connectors

Simply insert into any of the PLT's USB ports or have it built into a custom pogo pin cassette. This version of the dongle comes preconfigured to ensure that it works out of the box, without needing to download additional software.
