Just the switch was not available separately for the Discovery 3 - you had to purchase the whole switch/number plate lamp assembly

To remove the bonnet you need to lift fully and then with 2 people you can lift the bonnet straight off

Do not position the hoops next to the "exit points" on the roof rails

Move the key away or remove the phone from charging to start your vehicle

This item WILL fit the Land Rover Discovery 3 ( in some markets this is called the LR3 ) - all models
