Gold has been acid tested. Total weight: 9. 49 grams. Polished garnet cabochon 15 mm x 10 mm oval. Empty backside locket, likely once held a lock of hair. While this is a brooch, I have often worn these clasped over my pearls as a pendant since I'm not so much a brooch wearer. Rave reviews! Condition: Very good to excellent
